Thoughts of an international student

Despite having over hundred percent of freedom.. there's actually more cons than pros.

Such an emotional midnight i had out of the blue and i found myself in a deep funk

I always thought studying at overseas are something really FUN to do or what i can say YOLO - you only live onced but trust me.. i am fucking wrong.. very WRONG

I learn to be more ... to myself .
I am currently staying at hostel which is single bedded ( a single room )

Sometimes i just felt like i am all alone.. even i had enough money to buy nice damn tasty food.. i just felt like i have no one to talk to or share with .. it just sucks

every morning i wake up, all i think of is to take a shower and go school.
after school, all i think of is to go back home and do my assignment and go to bed.
And these are the cycles of my daily routine for continuously since July till now .. which been MONTHS

people i can talk to everyday is thru PHONES, or the four sided wall at my room that protects me.
however, i felt that i am soo disturbing to contact them every single day

social medias nowadays are wideee.. such as instagram
i can see my friends went out happily WITHOUT ME and took picture , then uploaded into instagram that seriously tore my heart appart.
not just that, sometimes they will be so busy on their on college work, it takes them forever to reply

sometimes, i saw them tweeting something really sad and shit.. i really felt so heartache i am not there for them
when i called them using my IDD, they just wouldnt pick up as they were throwing their phone aside..

BUT do they understand what the shit i felt... i am very worried, helpless
and what worst is - i couldnt attend my sister from another mother graduation.. its her big big day i am not there.. aiks D:

Next, my parents,

i keep in touch with them everyday, not thru phone calls but voice message on whatsapp

last week, i heard my mum said that she's not feeling well, and so does dad
i understand.. human grows... grows and get sick..

its even sad that i am not there for them .

i know there's no turning back,
i am doing this for my future? or i can say a better career or something for me to learn or go through
I should have that gratitude that i get to study abroad compared to people out there

Because i felt that i am disturbing and got no one to talk to, this is the way i express my feelings and i hope this is between us.

i wish to be at home again . i wouldnt skip my parents meal, i wouldnt fight back, i will appreciate my friends more .. i will and i hope those ------ships with me wont goes sinking

Little Sum Up

For now, come to an end for my creative thinking class :(

Time flies.. i felt like twelve week just pass by with a blink of an eye.. i know i exaggerate a little but its true FOR me

Here i did a little sum up for my creative thinking class 

we made a tall towel with the limited amount of spaghetti teacher provided.

Did some monster costume out of recyclable materials 

Did a futuristic home out of recyclable materials 

 Redesign the packaging ! haaha try compare both pictures in each row respectively

For our last class, we did this . Design watch for our friends.

I will definitely miss this module.. but doesnt mean i want to retake it ! hahahaha

Limited Edition Watch

AWWWW Its week twelve already :( kinda sad because the first semester going to end soon.. it means that my class, VA1D gonna be separated and walk different ways to their own respective major :(:(:(

Today we've attend make up class for creative thinking. Today activity was to decorate watch for a friend in our class .

The following are the examples of my classmates artwork. 

This is created by one of my coolest Classmates, Zhi Hui. As the saying goes , Dont judge a book by its cover , ITS RIGHT ! why do i say so? Since its week 12, i come to a conclude that i still remember during week 1, her impression to me was.. i am afraid to even talk to her !!

but for now, we may not be the closest but we are good friends and sometimes talk jokes and laugh. She's really pretty and kind , very very very kind and caring !

This is created by Singapore very popular illustrator, Shafina . She remained low profile and VERY VERY VERY VERY INTENSE HUMBLE !!!! She's very creative and you should take a look at her sketchbook .. ITS incredibly perfect doodle !

This is created by Sheryl, My first friend in this class and also on of my closest friend ! Shes talented.. trust me SHE IS !!! i believe she will be a popular artist in the future because her fine art work is better than perfect and i got no other word to describe it !

This look-like watermelon watch are for me :D:D HEHEHE 

One of my closest classmates named YOYO , drew this for me 

and left a little note or explanation at the back of the drawing .

Translation : Green refers to natural which symbolizes good health .

Orange symbolized adrenaline ! haha which is active 

AND i shall dress like that if i am going the wear that watch ! HAHAHAHA trying hard to compensate with YoYO !! 

This is the watch i specially design for her , she told me she love pig HAHAHA 

If you notice, i actually designed the hour and minute hand upside down because i believe Yoyo is a clumsy person and she MAY WEAR WRONG SIDE hahahaahahaha

Packaging Gone Wrong

Today post will be a little fun !! its about PACKAGING GONE WRONG.
Feel free to laugh as loud as possible infront of your screen hahahahaha

I wondered if they did them on purposes so they attract customers to buy them AND LAUGH OUT LOUD ! Or there's such 3C - coincident, clumsy, careless ?

AND NOW ... my version of PACKAGING GONE WRONG .. i got the picture from the supermaker near my college 

i believed they are not hillarious compared those i found on the internet, but i tried my best D:

I wrote a little explanation below each picture

Brainstorm on whats gone wrong with this Justice League bottle? haha its just the inverted price tag :P

Templates to Volume Part 2

Today i will be blogging about my templates to volume 3D fundamentals project. 

I got inspired by Peter Dahmen , A graphic designer from germany. 

These are the examples of the pop up cards he had made .

For my 3D fundamentals project, i decided to use paper as the main medium . I created complex design by repeating the simple design and invert them . 

this is the template i have made on the tracing paper 

i start off using a A2 size 400gsm paper. its a thick cardboard paper . 

then , i colour it with monochromatic colours, black on the botton and goes gradually lighter to the top

tadaaaaa :))))) 

i place the tracing paper on top of the coloured cardboard paper and started to cut them with a blade. 

i too place a cutting mat on the most bottom .

TADAAAA AFTER THREE HOURSSSSSSSSS 

YAYYYY i fold them with the method valley folds and mountain folds.

The reason of me doing these design is this act as a divider furniture that can place at home to separate to sides . Besides, when its place infront of a glass window, i like the fact that when sun shines to it, the shadow forms are really unique which you cant buy it at any stores out there HEHEHEHE

 this is my first attempt, or what i can say , a mock up? its in white colour .
